Healthy Pet Resolution #4 - Check the microchip!
Register AND update your pet’s microchip! After a microchip is inserted, the owner is responsible for registering the microchip online and updating the information any time there are changes. If you’ve moved or adopted your pet, you need to update their microchip registration online. A microchip is lifelong identification for your pets. Collars and tags, even air tags, can fall off and fail. At your pet’s first visit to Winterville Animal Clinic, our assistants will scan them to see if they have a microchip in place. Our veterinarians can answer any questions you have about microchips and insert them at the clinic.
