How to Apply Revolution Plus on Cats

Pumpkin and Luna visited Winterville Animal Clinic for their annual well visits last week! Dr. Seufert applied their doses of Revolution Plus in the office.
Here are a few tips when applying topical treatment to cats:
1. Be sure to empty the whole vial during application and do not split the dose between animals.
2. It is important to use prevention and medications on the specified species - do not share medication for cats with dogs, and vice versa. Doses are also specific for weight. 
3. It is helpful if another person can help hold the cat while you apply the treatment.
4. Keep children and other pets from making contact with the application area for about 30 minutes. 
5. Wash your hands after applying the treatment.
