November Focus - Senior Pets

Senior pets are such a special part of our family and yours - whether they've been with you since they were a puppy or kitten, or you recently welcomed them into your family! Senior pets need a specialized type of care that focuses on their unique needs. Our veterinarians want to offer your pets the best life possible and help pet parents through every season as well. 

Dogs are considered "seniors" at age 7. Cats are considered "seniors" at age 10. This can vary slightly depending on your pet's breed and other health conditions. Our veterinarians will recommend to you how often your pet should come to Winterville Animal Clinic for a wellness exam so they are able to keep an eye on their condition.
