When should I schedule my puppy's or kitten's first vet visit?

Schedule the first visit for your puppy or kitten within the first few days of bringing them home. 

What happens at the first vet visit?

This first visit will be with one of our veterinarians at Winterville Animal Clinic and will include:
  1. A complete health exam
  2. Vaccinations (see the full vaccine schedules below)
  3. Parasite treatment
  4. Complementary flea and tick preventative
  5. Establish a health plan
  6. Answer any of your questions and concerns
  7. Receive a puppy or kitten pack, a loyalty card, and a sample of food
