Athens is the home of the University of Georgia - Go Dawgs! The UGA College of Veterinary Medicine is one of the finest veterinary teaching colleges in the country. We have access to leading animal medical, research, and diagnostic facilities, as well as future veterinarians. Pre-veterinary students participating in our internships, externships, clinical rotations, and shadowing opportunities are eager to learn and gain experiences as they pursue careers in veterinary medicine.
Winterville Animal Clinic is conveniently located near the surrounding counties of Madison, Oconee, Oglethorpe, Jackson, and Barrow. We also have patients visit us from Atlanta and South Carolina. |
